Josh Kovac

Josh Kovac is a Principal at Type One Ventures. Prior to joining Type One Ventures, Josh worked at Soul Ventures, where he served as Principal, focusing on deal sourcing, lead generation, and supporting portfolio companies across various growth stages.

Before moving into venture capital, Josh founded his own startup shortly after graduating from university, gaining hands-on experience in entrepreneurship. He later joined another startup as Chief Strategy Officer, where he was responsible for business development and strategic planning.

Josh holds an LLB Law degree from the University of Exeter. With a strong background in startups and venture capital, he brings a founder’s perspective and a strategic mindset to his role.
