Gin is an entrepreneur dedicated to developing innovative products and creating new businesses at the intersection of Web3, AI, and technology. After studying in the U.S. in 2009, he founded his first company in Shanghai in 2011, launching multiple businesses focused on digital marketing and system development. In 2017, he co-founded a D2C brand and relocated his base to Japan.
Since then, he has held key roles—including CTO and lead investor—at several startups, driving growth from technological, business, and capital perspectives. In late 2019, he founded UPBOND with the vision of building a society where individuals have sovereignty over their personal data. He developed "Login3.0," a next-generation customer ID platform leveraging Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) and Verifiable Credentials (VCs), and has partnered with major corporations such as MUFG and Animoca Brands. The platform has been adopted by over 20 leading companies, supporting their new business development initiatives.
In 2025, UPBOND released "Login3.0 with AI Agent," which combines natural language dialogue with life log data to revolutionize marketing and customer experience for enterprises.
Gin also plays an active role at Type One Ventures, where he leads cross-border business collaborations between Japanese corporates and top-tier global startups in sectors like AI and space technology.
With hands-on entrepreneurial experience, a deep understanding of AI and Web3 technologies, and a strong global network as a venture investor, Gin continues to tackle the transformation of social structures through technology.
