Cynthia Jean Kember

Cynthia Jean Kember, a native of Los Angeles, earned her master’s degree in Psychology in 2012. Leveraging her understanding of human behavior, she transitioned into the film and television industry. She teamed up with her brother at Homage Arts and Production, a boutique production company. There, she produced short-form content for major clients such as Warner, Island Def Jam, RCA, Bicycle Music Group, and Interscope. Her projects have been showcased at prominent film festivals, including the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts and Short of the Week.

Cynthia honed her skills working with Marc Roskin, Executive Producer, Director, and Partner at Dean Devlin's Electric Entertainment, gaining expertise in film and television development, finance, production, and distribution. In 2020, she produced "A T O M," a live-action sci-fi proof of concept, which garnered attention from industry executives and top agents for its high production value and execution.

In 2022, Cynthia served as Co-Producer on the second season of Amazon Freevee’s "Leverage: Redemption," a spin-off of the popular series "Leverage." She later became an in-house Production Executive at Electric Entertainment. Cynthia transitioned from traditional entertainment to join Type One Ventures as the Head of Media, Content, and Partnerships, where she applies film and television strategies to the venture capital industry.
