Adam Sanchez

Adam is the Finance & Operations Associate at Type One Ventures, where he builds and scales the operational infrastructure that supports the firm's funds, special purpose vehicles, and investor ecosystem. His work spans fund administration, capital operations, financial modeling, performance reporting, and workflow automation, enabling the firm to operate efficiently as it grows. By combining finance with technology, he develops systems that improve visibility across investments, capital, and investor relationships.

Prior to joining Type One Ventures, Adam held a leadership role in the University of Colorado, Denver Endowment Fund while earning his BSBA in Finance, contributing to deal sourcing, portfolio management, and investment thesis development. He later served as an Investment Operations Manager at one of the nation's most active angel investing communities, supporting early-stage venture investing, startup acceleration, economic development, deal sourcing, and due diligence across technology, life sciences, and clean tech. Earlier experience in M&A valuation, banking, wealth management, and fintech provided a broad foundation in capital markets and financial operations.

Adam approaches operational challenges through the lens of systems design, building automated workflows and data infrastructure that create scalable solutions for investment firms. Working at the intersection of finance and frontier technology, Adam is driven by the opportunity to deploy capital into companies advancing artificial intelligence, aerospace, longevity, biotechnology, and next-generation infrastructure - technologies he believes will define the next generation of economic and societal progress.

Outside of work, Adam is naturally curious and enjoys learning about emerging technologies, financial markets, and health and wellness. When he's not building something or exploring new ideas, he enjoys staying active, skiing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
